EXCELSIOR GIRL
2014 – 2017
From the mid to late 2010s, when most people heard the name Excelsior Unlimited Entertainment, they would instantly think of the Excelsior Girl. A talented actress, host, model, and voice-over artist, Crystal Lopez leapt into the role as Excelsior Unlimited Entertainment’s first brand ambassador, bringing energy, glamour and style to our company’s public image. Born in Bronx, New York, Crystal moved to Miami as a child. As a teenager she was active in drama and chorus in school and church. She specialized in performing, writing, and rehearsing weekly sketches, usually in only a two hour turnaround time. In 2008, she moved back to New York City to study acting at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts (AADA). After leaving AADA she was cast in a few student films and a few commercials.
After relocating back to South Florida in 2011 she began performing as an ensemble member of the Ft Lauderdale based sketch comedy group “Skitsations” from 2012 to 2013. She also worked as a production intern for the “Kup & Crowder Show” at 560-WQAM in Miami, where she voiced commercials for 560-WQAM and Power 96, and interviewed “Miami Heat” players during the 2012 playoffs. During this time she also hosted a weekly live trivia game show at “The Pub” in Pembroke Pines (2011-2013). In 2014 she competed in the International Presentation of Performers convention in LA where she won several awards including first place for her Scene and runner-up for the “Actress of the Year.”
Later in 2014, Crystal joined Excelsior Unlimited Entertainment and became our go to host to promote our projects and events. She interviewed up and coming new independent artists and she appeared in several Excelsior Unlimited Entertainment films and projects. Crystal’s tenure as Excelsior Girl brought excitement, elegance and a wicked sense of humor to our productions, and for that, we at Excelsior Unlimited Entertainment will always be grateful. Crystal Lopez, the first woman to take on the mantle of Excelsior, will always have a special place in our hearts.
