Clean Up on Aisle Nine

SYNOPSIS

Cody O’Ryan (Jesse Carver), all American high school football star, craves popularity and dates with hot girls, especially with head cheerleader Kelly Hudson (Jocelyn Paryz). After a spectacular play, that won the game for his team, he is invited to a victory party that Kelly will definitely attend. His plans are derailed when his mother is called in to work, and he has to babysit the bane of his existence, his younger, nerdy brother, Chandler (Tyler Minevich). Things become catastrophic when Cody is forced to take Chandler to the store and they briefly bump into Kelly, and even more daunting, during an apparent store robbery. Faced with a life and death event and fearing that this may be their last day on Earth together, Cody and Chandler must set aside their differences and come to terms with their true feelings about life, family and their feelings for each other.

Excelsior Unlimited Entertainment, in conjunction with Black Swann Films, is proud to present Clean Up on Aisle Nine. A comedy written and directed by Derrick J. Johnson whose credits include The Proposal, On Borrowed Time, and Victim. The film was produced by William Swann, Jr. and Adrian Garcia served as Executive Producer. Andrew Simancas was First Assistant Director, Joseph Rivera was the Director of Photography and Editor, Lizbeth Olguin was the Unit Production Manager and Yezzare Vasquez was the Production Designer.

AWARDS & HONORS

The script for Clean Up on Aisle Nine was written by Derrick J. Johnson and was nominated for Best Screenplay in 2017 at the Film Carpet X Awards. Clean Up on Aisle Nine was also accepted and screened at the 2018 Miami Dade School of Entertainment & Design Technology Spring Student Film Showcase on May 1, 2018.
